JOSIE MAGLALANG – CPA, MA in Public Administration

Happily married to Joe Maglalang, blessed with 3 wonderful kids and 4 grandchildren. A Certified Public Accountant in the Philippines with Masters Degree in Public Administration at the University of Sto Tomas and Public Management at the Development Academy of the Philippines.

Josie’s passion for community service and love for culture and arts grew fonder and stronger when she worked as Controller for 16 years at the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA), a government office mandated for the preservation, restoration and promotion of Philippine culture and arts and at present, a Senior Accountant in Valencia. She continues serving the community with Fil-Am since 2011.

As the 2018 Fil-Am President, with her theme: “In Pursuit of Excellence: Fil-ams Working Together”, she aims at increasing cultural awareness to every Fil-Am family and encourage Fil-am members to come together and share their time and knowledge in enhancing the ongoing projects of the association.
