Let's all gear up, heat up the grill, bring your favorite dish, your chairs, blankets and your huge smiles, it's time once again for Fil-Am of SCV's Annual Easter Picnic.
Yes, it's that time of the year again to celebrate the very essence of our Association. Fil-Am started with a small group of Filipinos living in vast valley of farmland, the Santa Clarita Valley. Getting together to celebrate Easter was one of the many ways these Filipino parents are able to instill the value of family to their children in a fun and exciting ways!
Now over 37 years later, the very same family, the Bertulfo's, Imperials, Montebon's, Carreon's, Obnial's, Resella's, among others, have managed to continue to engage not only their children, who now have family of their own, but majority of the Filipinos living in now what we call The City of Santa Clarita.
So be part of this fun and exciting family event and experience our traditional Filipino game like the pabitin, sack race and egg hunting, enjoy fresh bbq grilling, singing and dancing.
So mark you calendars and we'll see you at the West Creek Park on April 12, 2020 at noon.
