"We have been residents of Santa Clarita since 1978.  We have watched the valley grow from corn and onion fields to the great community it is today.  As President in 1984, it was the goal of my administration to bring awareness of Philippine culture to Santa Clarita as well as form activities for Filipino Americans longing for the old country.

Several years later, we have developed to an association actively involved in giving back to our community.  The baton has been passed to the next generation of Filipino Americans better equipped in dealing with community civic activities in Santa Clarita and in the Philippines.
