2014 - THE ARTISTIC TEAM
I brand the 2014 Board of Officers as the Artistic Team because of their flair for delivering each project with artistry and fluidity and with strong enthusiasm and teamwork. We accomplished significant events during this year of which I am very proud of. My deep appreciation goes to all the Board of Officers and Trustees for stepping up to pool all their skills, talents, and influence to make all our programs successful.
One of our biggest events was the full production of a musical play "Mga Kwento Ni Lola Basyang", a popular Filipino folktale written by the popular novelist, Severino Reyes. This play was directed by 2009 President Myra Miranda. Lola Basyang was played by our Treasurer Zeny Benitez and most of our characters were played by Santa Clarita Fil-Am members together with the original dancers of the Malaya Filipino American Dance Arts. This play was a concerted effort and I could not thank everybody enough for making this play possible.
And as always, I want to thank my loving husband, Mike Justiniano, for his unconditional love and support for all my endeavors. And to my family, thank you for always being there for me. God speed to all.

Works as an accountant for an Aerospace company in Valencia for over 20 years. Married to Mike Justiniano for 39 years. She is proud and delighted to volunteer her spare time at community and church’s civic and humanitarian activities.
2014 ASSOCIATION HIGHLIGHT:
The Fil-Am Association Cultural Festival Celebration presented the musical play entitled “Mga Kwento Ni Lola Basyang”, along with the Cultural dancing of Malaya Dance Arts was held at Canyon Theatre Guild, September 6, 2014. Above is Ms. ZENY BENITEZ, in her starring role as Lola Basyang , reading her two stories of “ANG MAHIWAGANG BIYULIN” at “SI SULTAN SAIF” to the grandkids, portrayed by : RJMagpantay, Trisha Magpantay and Arisha Magpantay
