The 2020 Board of Officers were finally inducted and was sworn in by none other than the Los Angeles, Philippines Consul General, Angelito Adelio S. Cruz.
Apart from the commitment they have pledged, which was to uphold their duties and obligations as officers of Fil-Am of SCV, they each promised to keep Fil-Am's mission and vision with integrity, respect, and flare.
The event's theme "Kapusong Pilipino - Remembering our Culture And Strengthening our Legacy", was clearly on display with the elegantly placed Valentine's Day decorations in the ballroom of Sand Canyon Clubhouse. The CSUN FASA Dance Group presented Philippine Cultural dances, one of them tinikling. Guests attempted to dance it without being caught by the bamboo poles. Arnel David rendered kundiman songs serenading our muse of the night, Ms. Alyssa Sandra Guevara. The induction ball was also attended by one of the Philippines legendary actors, Matt Ranillo lll. The Dragon Boat team of Los Angeles and the Sariaya Association of California also graced our induction ball.
